Every Dean/Cas fanfic writer, needs to write a fic based on something they are an expert on. Like, for me, it’d be watching kids and dealing with the harder ones with behavioral issues. For someone else it might be being a cashier or working for a fashion magazine. Whatever it is that you know best, like the back of your hand, you should make it into a Dean/Cas fic.
